Wow!! It's been a long time.....

Soooo, a LOT has happened since my last post! One of the most amazing things is that our sweet baby girl was born on July 7th. She is absolutely perfect. We were once again amazed at God's grace and beauty. Holding a newborn baby is an unbelievable experience. To know that this tiny miracle grew for 9 months (actually 10 :) ) and how each intricate part formed is amazing, and I don't know how someone could experience all of that and still not believe in God.

Okay, sorry, off of my soapbox for now!! :) Ella Grace Warren was born on July 7th by c-section...10 days before her scheduled arrival! Both of my children obviously don't have much patience...neither waited until they were actually supposed to come!! She weighed 8 lbs 5 oz and was 20 1/4 inches long. Big brother Grisham has loved her from the very beginning and is an awesome brother! He adjusted very well to having a new baby at home and has been an awesome helper! I recovered a lot better after her birth than Grisham's, so I was only down for a few days. I'm thinking it may be in part to me having a 4 year old that needed me to do things for him....which I am so grateful for.

At her 2 mth checkup, Ella Grace weighed 12 lbs 13 oz....she's a big girl just like her big brother was!! Well, that's all I have time for now...the princess is waking up and is ready to eat!! I've posted some pictures from her first couple of days....I'll post more recent ones a little bit later!! There's still a lot more that has happened in our lives!!! :)

Gingerbread House Fun!!!

Alrighty...moving right along to Christmas fun! Brent and Grisham decorated a gingerbread house at school and built a bigger one at home.

It was too funny seeing them work together...especially at school. Brent was wanting it to look good, and Grisham was just wanting to eat the candy!!! Too funny! Then, when we started to do ours at home, the roof fell in, and Grisham was very upset by this. He didn't even want to see the side of the house where the roof was broken!

So....it's been a while! :)

I apologize for the lack of updates. :) After we got back from the Grand Canyon....life got really busy. I know, no excuse, right? ;) So...needless to say, I have tons of pictures to update everyone on our big boy. I have to call him that now, because over the Christmas break....he decided he wanted to start using the potty!! Praise God....that has been one of our major challenges with him....but once he decided to do it, he did.

For Halloween, he decided he wanted to be a cowboy. So, we took him to Cowboy Corner to pick out his clothes. Believe it or not, he chose the purple shirt. :)

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving...spending time with family and friends. While at Nana and Tata's house, I decided to take some pictures of him at the barn....so below, you'll find some of my favorites. Because of the amount of pictures I have, the Christmas update will be the next blog...that I'm going to post right after this one. Can you tell that some people have been asking about my reasons for not updating??? ;) I hope they are happy today...because you will all be getting at least 3 updates in one day!!! :)

One last thing....I can't talk about Thanksgiving break without talking about the Egg Bowl. :) My cuz Lauren, great friend, Mary and I went. Needless to say....Lauren and I were VERY happy with the outcome!! :) Sorry, Mary! ;) We still love ya! Hotty Toddy!! Go Rebels!!
